My name is Kyle Daniels. I am a self taught ceramic artist based in Oakland CA. I draw on additive & subtractive processes to develop complex surfaces that encourage viewers to interact with every day objects in unexpected ways.
My work plays with clays inherently functional properties, and explores what makes a ceramic object go from a functional object to a sculptural one.
